Haight Ashbury is an original design created from my photographs of vernacular architecture in the neighborhood of that name in San Francisco. This five-block neighborhood has one of the highest concentrations of well-preserved Victorian homes in the city. The montage is “pieced” digitally then printed professionally on cotton sateen. I used So Fine 50 weight thread to match the colors in the composition. My photographic quilt of this architectural site marks a memorable October morning. . $7200 58h x 45w
